Sliding Scale Studio Access Pass

Printmaking requires the use of heavy equipment and hazardous chemicals, as such all studio users must comply with safety policies and must have sufficient technical knowledge to work safely and independently in the studio. Workshops and one-on-one mentorships are offered for those who wish to learn, or brush up on, technical skills. 

Malaspina provides shared access to the equipment, chemistry, and materials needed to practice in a number of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes including: lithography, intaglio, screen-printing, digital printing, relief printing, and alternative-photographic processes. 

Malaspina offers discounts to increase affordability and accessibility for individuals looking for long term studio space. 

• For six consecutive months we are able to offer discounts up to 30% off per month for a sliding scale rate of between $189.45 per month to $270.65 per month. 
• For twelve consecutive months we are able to offer discounts up to 65% off per month for a sliding scale rate of between $95.26 per month to $270.65 per month. 

Discounts are based on the financial ability of the individual.
