Vanessa Hall-Patch's practice often involves mixed-media printmaking and photography, collaging unique combinations stemming from her surroundings. She is currently exploring the notions of home and its emotional and physical attributes.
Vanessa Hall-Patch currently lives and works in Vancouver. She received a BFA with honours from Queen’s University in 2001, and went on to complete a MFA in Printmaking from the University of Alberta in 2004. She has exhibited throughout Canada and internationally, including the United States, Europe, and Japan, receiving numerous accolades, the most recent being the Factory Prize at the Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibition in Japan and the Opus Prize at the Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition (BIMPE) in Vancouver.
