Mondays in March 6 to 27 2017, from 6 to 9pm
Instructor: Lee McKay
Over the course of four evenings participants will explore a variety of approaches to using copper etching
plates coated with photo polymer film. As well as covering basics of exposure, development, etching (copper plates using ferric chloride) and printing, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with photographic intaglio methods. The course will include chine collé printing for those who are interested.
Some knowledge of photoshop would be helpful but is not necessary. However, participants should have some basic print experience.
