Barb Choit will teach this comprehensive, two day primer for those looking to experiment with digital printing. Those already experienced with inkjet printing will learn the theory and the “tips and tricks” for getting superior results. By the end of the course, all students will be primed and ready to explore the full aesthetic capabilities of Malaspina’s inkjet printing facilities.
Barb Choit lives and works in Vancouver and New York. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, an MFA from California Institute of the Arts, and an MA in Curatorial Studies from Columbia University. She has exhibited extensively in the United States and Canada, and her work has been reviewed in publications such as The New York Times, Artforum, Art In America, and Canadian Art. Choit has been teaching drawing, photography, and digital imaging for the past six years.
