Saturday and Sunday February 16 and 17, 2019, from 10am to 5pm
Instructor: Val Loewen
Join Val Loewen to explore relief printing through linocut. In this process, carving tools are used to create positive and negative shapes on a single lino block, the block is then inked with a brayer and printed by hand or with a printing press. In this class students will learn the basics of printing and registration for multi-colour relief prints. This class is suitable for beginners and for people who want to have fun with printmaking.
